"For
Christmas my husband gave me a present that
I received with great trepidation...he wanted
me to have photos taken, nude photos. He showed
me several potential photographer sites and
said only one was of the quality and style that
he was looking for, but he would allow me to
choose. I looked at each in turn and was overwhelmed
by the artistic shots by Kenneth Wajda. The
web galleries he forwarded to us to look through
were superb. I still really didn't want to have
my photo taken as I have never  seen
myself as beautiful and always felt nude photos
are only for those in perfect shape.
I felt no one could possibly bring out any beauty
in me, a girl who has always been heavy. I told
my husband I would only have the shots done
if we could schedule with Ken as I felt looking
at the shots that he really loved and appreciated
his work. It
took a little while to work our schedules and
being totally honest, I prayed that it wouldn't
work out so I wouldn't have to go through with
it. But, we were able to set a date and I nervously
watched it creep closer and closer.
I was on edge up until the moment we walked
up to the door, but then I thought, well here
I am, I have to go through with it now. Ken
greeted us and immediately set about putting
me at ease. He talked to me as he set up the
camera explaining that he doesn't plan shots
in advance so each person's session is different.
I really enjoyed that. Many shots came about
simply because I would change my position to
get more comfortable.
When we took a break half way through, he edited
some of the shots and showed them to us. My
breath caught, I couldn't believe who I saw
on the screen was me! As I looked at each picture
in turn I saw for the first time just how God
must have seen me as he was molding me...soft
and strong, beautiful and curvaceous. I suddenly
saw what my husband had so longed for me to
see, the beautiful woman he sees every time
he looks at me. I have you to thank for that
Ken! Your love for your work shines through
in every picture and I look forward to displaying
them in my home. I left Colorado with a changed
point of view of myself and my body image. A
picture says a thousand words, and all of them
are words of encouragement and strength to me
when I look at mine. Thanks again from the bottom

"I
was trying to decide what to get my fiancee
for a wedding gift when I came across Ken's
website. I realized immediately that it was
the perfect idea. Nevertheless, I was a bit
nervous leading up to the shoot because I had
never done anything like it before. I was in
for a pleasant surprise.
 Ken
immediately made me feel at ease. He is a very
down-to-earth person, but yet extremely professional.
Throughout the shoot, Ken asked for my input
with poses and made sure that I was comfortable.
In the middle and at the end of the shoot, Ken
sat down with me to look at the photos. It was
really great to participate in the process that
way and to see the results so quickly. I was
amazed at how many of the photos I really liked.
Only
two days after the photo shoot, Ken sent my
web preview gallery. All of the photos were

have always been interested in artistically
done, nude photographs. I never thought to have
them done on myself until I came across Kenneth
Wajda's web site. Kenneth and I talked and I
made an appointment. I have to admit that I
was a little nervous and not sure if modeling
nude for someone I didn't know would be something
that I could do.
Mr.
Wajda made it a very comfortable experience
and I didn't feel awkward at all. We took many
shots and worked together to find poses that
I liked. We were also able to look at the digital
pictures throughout the session so we could
change, modify, or just try something new.
The photographs turned out better than what

"I
wasn’t sure what I was looking for exactly,
but at 41 years old, the ol’ college girl
model wanna-be was not it. Then I hit on a link
that advertised “artistic nude photography.”
I passed the hyperlink several times in the
list of photographers mentally mocking, “Yeah,
call it what you want…” (having seen
so many photographers with pictures of young
women in provocative poses or giving the age-old
“come hither” look). I wasn’t
offended or disgusted, but I  wasn’t
looking to recreate any bedroom scenes. After
three or four passovers, I finally decided to
give the guy or gal a try and clicked. What
I came upon was photography by Kenneth Wajda,
which upon first glance I knew it was exactly
what I had in mind even though I didn’t
have anything really defined.
What
I saw was art. It wasn’t boudoir, intimate,
or anything remotely close to what the other
sites offered. It was beautiful, and that’s
about the only word I can come up with to describe
the nudes on his site. I was engrossed immediately.
After I spent a considerable amount of time
musing over the pictures in his online galleries
where the experience was similar to a trip to
the museum looking at impressionist art, walking
around the room three or four times taking in
the beauty, the detail, the stroke of the brush,
the dot of paint in just the right spot, I finally
came to and read the message regarding his nude
photography. As I mentioned, I had some concerns.
In
the message, he came right out and said all
the things any woman should be thinking about
when looking for a photographer to take nude
photographs…no touching…only verbal
directions…a model release much different
from other photographers (yeah, since you're
paying him then the rights to the pictures are
yours – go figure)…his goal is to
create art.

"I
started thinking about taking photographs about
a year ago for personal reasons. Mainly, because
I am getting older, but also because I have
many friends who have been diagnosed with  breast
cancer and ovarian cancer. I know that taking
nude photographs of myself because of other
women in my life having tragic consequences
might seem odd to some but for me it solidified
what I want to preserve for myself.
The experience was not uncomfortable by any
means. It was awkward at first, because, lets
face it......I am completely naked in front
of a total stranger! I found Kenneth on the
internet when a friend of mine was over and
were trying to find a photographer in Houston.
I had no such luck and the photographers who
did "pop up" were either bedroom/romantic/soft
porn or really disgusting. I liked the artistic
componet of the photographs I saw on the website
and I love my pictures. The photographs are
truly a work of art.
The studio was easy to find, it is small and
unassuming. The environment is warm and there
is a privacy barrier to disrobe. He will start
out with you partially covered in order to get
used to the setting. I did not bring anyone
with me and it was truly an experience as I
came from out of state. If you are remotely
interested in excellent pictures and are entertaining
the idea of doing this, I highly recommend Kenneth
as the pictures are fantastic."

"I
suspect I may be an unlikely candidate for nude
photography—a 40 year old woman, wife for
19 years, and mother of four children.
This year, however, I have learned something
about the importance of the visual to men in
general and my husband in particular. I wanted
to recognize that new knowledge with a present
to my husband - photographs of just me and my
skin.
I searched the internet and found, first, the
"boudoir" photographs. I was unimpressed.
When I found your site, celebratingthe art that
is each human form, and the play of light and
shadow in the photographs, I knew I had found
the one possibility.
 You
were professional and courteous by email and
telephone - never high pressure nor inappropriate.
I appreciated the process - all verbal instructions,
companions both welcome and encouraged, a chance
to view the photographs midsession to see if
we were heading the right direction, and the
availability of digital pictures on the computer
in addition to actual prints. We made the appointment
and I proceeded to avoid food for the next two
weeks (human nature being what it is).
I had almost a two-hour drive to ponder what
was going to happen - in my elastic free clothing
required of the day's activities. When my friend
and I arrived, you were so calm and courteous.
I had the feeling that if I had needed to, you
would have simply chatted until I felt comfortable.
The studio itself is comforting in its scale
- small, not much bigger than a home office.
All the windows were covered. The room was warm.
When I stepped behind the screen to disrobe,
I reminded myself that this is something you
do regularly and that there was art in every
human form. 
I gratefully slipped behind the draped, low
table for the first portrait shots. This was
all I needed for a warm up to the session. I
still marvel that throughout the nearly three
hour session, I never once felt uncomfortable
nor did you give me any reason to doubt your
ethics or professionalism. In fact, your focused
dedication on doing something you clearly revel
in did more than anything to set me at ease.
It is always a treat to witness someone working
at something they do so well.
My husband will get his gift, yes, but I got
something too - a reaffirmation that all bodies,
even this body, can be beautiful.
While we may not hang the pictures in the living
room, I do not doubt that there would be some
that would fit there. Should my children find
the pictures on some future day, I have nothing
to be embarrassed about, and nor will they."
